Cable glands manufactured for ‘Group I Mining’ are designed to withstand some of the most hostile underground and surface mining environments. Built to protect cables and electrical infrastructure against the risk explosion and high impact, cable glands for mining are available with both ATEX and IEC Ex approval.
CMP’s cable glands are used in mining applications throughout the world from Canada to Australia, including underground coal mining and surface mining for non-gaseous minerals such as gold and nickel.
